The Mobile Premier Awards has announced 20 finalists from 49 nominated startups to the Mobile Premier Awards in Innovation: The best grassroots startup innovation chosen by their peers in partnership with MobileMonday, the global community of mobile professionals.
The Asia Pacific region is represented in 2010 by two Indian firms who made it through to the final round:
MobileMonday Chennai – mobiSiteGalore
MobileMonday Mumbai – Umundo.
Nominees were put forth from the Asia Pacific region put forth nominees from Mobile Monday chapters in Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Melbourne and Shanghai.
The 20 finalists (see bottom of post for full list) will pitch their idea, application or project at the Mobile Premier Awards event that takes place in Barcelona, at the Petit Palau of Palau de la Musica on February 15, 2010 in front of investors, operators, media companies, peer entrepreneurs, and press and influential bloggers.
